Lesedi Cultural Village

Celebrate South Africa’s diverse cultures, with an  immersive experience into the traditional lifestyles of the country’s indigenous people. Located just outside Johannesburg, the village showcases the heritage of five ethnic groups: Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Basotho, and Ndebele. Through interactive tours, dance performances, and traditional meals, guests gain insight into the customs, architecture, and spiritual practices of these communities.

Credo Mutwa Village

Deepen your connection to the ancestors in a  ceremony at Credo Mutwa Cultural Village,  a highly spiritual place that honors South Africa’s rich indigenous heritage. This sacred space, built by renowned Zulu Sanusi Credo Mutwa, is infused with his wisdom, artistry, and vision of preserving African traditions. Giant Footprint

The mysterious Giant’s Footprint—a 1.2-meter-long impression embedded in granite rock that dates back over 3.1 billion years. Believed by many to be the trace of a great ancestral being, possibly one of the legendary e’Mpuluzi giants, Deep in Mpumalanga folklore, e’Mpuluzi is remembered as a colossal female giant—so tall that her single footprint measures over 1.2 meters.

Legends say she was running across the ancient land toward her lover when a volcanic eruption overtook her. As the lava cooled, her footprint was sanctified in stone—an everlasting imprint of her journey. this site holds deep symbolic and spiritual meaning.

Locals and visitors alike leave offerings in the heel, calling upon its energy for protection, luck, or guidance. Nzalo Ye Langa : Experience the profound energy of conducting a sacred ceremony at one of the world’s oldest stone calendars in the world during the poweful energies of the Autumn Equinox. This ancient site is believed to be over 75,000 years old.

The Pilgrimage

Day 1: Welcome ceremony and Arrival Dinner
Begin your journey with a warm welcome ceremony and a special arrival dinner. Connect with fellow travelers, set intentions for the experience ahead, and immerse yourself in the spirit of South Africa over a delicious meal.

Day 2: Opening sacred space and Family constellation Ceremony
We open  the sacred space by greeting the land and orientating into the culture and ways of South Africa, then we move to a powerful family constellation session, led by Theko Oum, a South African elder and a revered figure in the field of ancestral healing through Family Constellations.

Day 3: Credo Mutwa village and volenteering
Immerse yourself into the Credo Mutwa Village, this unique experience offers deep spiritual wisdom of Baba Credo Mutwa through his sculptures as well as prophetic visions grounded in ancestral wisdom, and spiritual practices. Led by Lebo Sello, the guardian of the village. We then spend the afternoon connecting with community and giving back, through community service that honors the powerful legacy of Ubuntu and collective action.

Day 4: Craddle of humankind
We journey back into time and visit the craddle of humankind, a UNESCO world heritage site which guides us from the formation of the planet all the way through the evolutionary processes that culminated in the world as we know it today.  We then move to a cultural experience at the Lesedi cultural village where we explore the ancient roots of South Africa’s tribes.

 Day 5: Kruger National Park Evening Game Drive
We start our day with a process of understanding totem animals and connecting to the animal guides. We then embark on our first Kruger adventure with an evening game drive. Take a moment to witness the majestic beauty of the wildlife and later journaling about each animal encounter. 

Day 6: Kruger National Park Morning  Game Drive
Wake up to a deepening of the animal totem energy as we experience the magic of an early-morning game drive when the wildlife is most active then come back to a reflective guided process led by a Litha Booi where you will learn about the messages of the big 5 animals have to offer.

Day 7: Nzalo Ye Langa – Autumn Equinox ceremony and giant footprint
Dive deep into the Autumn equinox and learn about this sacred time in one of South Africa’s most sacred sights, Nzalo Ye Langa.   We will be guided into  ceremony as the sun rises. Later we go to see the prehistoric ‘footprint’ in the granite outcrop which shows  that giants once roamed this gorgeous part of South Africa.

Day 8: Day of Reflection and Relaxation
Take a step back to rest, reflect, and integrate the powerful experiences of the journey. This day is designed for quiet contemplation, relaxation, and self-care.

Day 9: Closing Ceremony and departure
Conclude your journey with a heartfelt closing ceremony, celebrating transformation, connection, and the wisdom gained during the retreat. Carry the energy of this experience into the next chapter of your life.

I am very excited to journey with you during the equinox to one of the most sacred places that I have ever been to, Inzalo  Ye Langa also known as Adams calander, a magical space where many great healers have stepped into the ancient portal and transformed their lives.
